The 2022 Mr. Olympia Men’s 212 prejudging has come to an end. As expected, Shaun Clarida, Angel Frias, Kamal Elgargni, & Keone Pearson definitely showed up and seem to be placing in the top 5 so far. As of right now, it looks like Shaun Clarida is magnitudes away from all other competitors. However, every top competitor looked incredible even beyond the first and second callouts. Unless the camera’s are playing visual trickery, every single competitor looked great during prejudging.

Keone Pearson looks like he’s the biggest and most muscular competitor in the line up. He seems to have improved a lot, he just needs to work on refining his look. Keone looks like he will be in 4th place. I find it very unlikely that he will break the top 3.

Kamal will most likely be placing 3rd. He looks like he has lost a significant amount of muscle and seems like age is catching up with him. Unfortunately, this seems like the last stride of his Olympia career. This takes nothing away from his incredible physique and career.

In my eyes, Angel takes 2nd place. Angel is very complete, muscular, and overall well balanced. The only thing he needs to work on is a little more detail in his back. Nevertheless, Angel seems to be the only competitor that has a shot at beating Shaun Clarida in years to come. If Shaun fails to show up in top shape in the future (unlike today), Angel has a shot at winning the title in the future.

However, this year, Shaun Clarida definitely takes 1st place. He looked incredible and there wasn’t a single pose or moment during prejudging where he showed any vulnerable or weak points. There is no one that gets close to Shaun Clarida. Shaun Clarida to me is Ronnie Coleman of the 2022 212 class.

Will Shaun decide to move up to the Open Class after winning this year? We’ll have to see.
