In a recent video, a bodybuilder named Makaya Childress shared his experience with using steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) from the ages of 15 to 20. Childress revealed that he had suffered a heart attack and had numerous health issues as a result of his drug use. He also stated that he did not think he had taken enough steroids to cause the damage he experienced. However, he acknowledged that he should not have used steroids at all at such a young age.

The video was widely shared on social media, prompting discussion about the dangers of using PEDs. Makaya did not get any blood work done for the last year and a half, which could have shown markers to alert him of his health condition. He had discipline in his diet, training, and program, but did not have the right mentors or had the wrong people around him giving him the wrong advice. Bodybuilding takes time and most people will not escape the extreme repercussions. Genetics play a huge role in side effects when it comes to steroids, and the younger the age, the higher the risk of damaging the body.

Childress shared the details of the various PEDs he had used over the years, including SARMs, human growth hormone (HGH), testosterone, Masteron, Trenbolone, and Anadrol. All viewers, fans, and people that see this need to take their health seriously, talk to their doctors, and consider the massive risks before using steroids or any other PEDs.

Using PEDs is not worth risking your life or damaging your health. Starting with over-the-counter supplements is a better option that can give you great results. Bodybuilding takes time and discipline, and genetics play a significant role in the side effects of steroids, especially when you are young. Do not start taking steroids before you are at least 25 years old, and always talk to your doctor and get routine blood work to avoid life-threatening risks like what Makaya Childress experienced.
