IFBB Pro Blessing Awodibu pulled out of the Arnold Classic due to not being prepared to compete, and now he has started his offseason and has already injured himself pretty severely. How bad is the quad injury? We will hopefully find out soon! I am hoping to see Blessing recover 100% and healthy as soon as possible!

Bodybuilding is about balance and symmetry and if you don’t have a nice set of legs, it’s going to be very hard to compete at the Olympia caliber. In this video, we see Blessing using a lot of weight. To be fair, Blessing is a 290-300 lbs bodybuilder. He’s a massive individual, so I’m certain that he could handle this weight. He does have knee wraps on which don’t seem anything out of the ordinary. We’ve always seen him wear knee wraps when he trains his legs and he’s talked about his bad knee on the other leg. Because of that, one leg is already down in size, but now he has injured the upper part of his quad on the good leg. The million dollar question is, is this injury serious enough to ruin that entire good leg?

Blessing Awodibu was in so much pain that he couldn’t even put enough pressure on it to re-rack it. This is not a strain or a pulled muscle, something must have popped. His leg became very unstable when he was trying to go on the positive part of the rep, because his leg just completely gave out and he couldn’t put any more pressure on his right leg.

I wish Blessing a speedy recovery. I don’t want to see this competitor down and out. I want to see Blessing compete this year, be his best, and shock the world again like he did when he won the New York Pro.
